The IAM Union Local 1681 unequivocally supports and stands in solidarity with the ATA in their fight for a long overdue fair contract that reflects the immense value teachers provide in educating the next generation of Albertans.  The threat by the UCP government to invoke the Notwithstanding Clause is an attack on democracy and a deliberate attempt to break unions and take away our right to strike and bargain.
