BRANDT, Noel – Noel “Joe” Rupert Wayne Brandt of Calgary passed away suddenly at his step daughter’s home in Sylvan Lake, on June 19, 2015 at the age of 68. Noel (Joe as known by family and friends) was born December 24, 1946 and served as a peace keeper in Cypress, then spent over thirty years working for Air Canada. He met Lynda Donaldson in 1986 and married her in 2003. Noel was a proud grandpa to Erin and Cole Matthews, children of Kim (Bob) Matthews and of Taylor, Jorja and Sophie, children of Doug (Laurie) Moffett. He will also be dearly missed by his two sisters Pat (Garret) Brandt and Avril (Lindsay) McClelland. He also will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Lynda, parents Almina and Rupert Brandt, sisters Jean Gouldie, Lois Soroka and Carol Look. A celebration of life will be held at his home in Calgary at 47 Thornlee Crescent N.W., Calgary on June 27, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium, Rocky Mountain House.
